Some Masters teams just come together like birds in a flock. But The Woodlands Masters was painstakingly built through hard work, love for swimming and perhaps a few stubborn streaks among its members. Here's the story behind the success of this team, which has grown stronger because of its struggles.

"You swim like a fish" seems the right thing to say to natural-born swimmers, but with 30,000 species of fish, the compliment leaves much to the imagination. Some fish are fast; some are not. So if you really want to compliment a swimmer, tell her she swims like a sailfish.
