Videos and still photographs help swimmers observe their own tech¬nique today. In the past, coaches suggested ways for swimmers to improve their strokes, but they could only see so much. Beyond a certain point, they just threw up their hands, hoping for success. And sometimes a swimmer exceeded their expectations – big time.
